Ruby red colour with purple highlights. The aroma is intense and complex with spicy hints of black pepper and cinnamon and an undertone of wet stone and leather. Hints of ripe red fruit are also evident. Warm and persuasive on the palate, with great personality. Its good minerality ensures a pleasurable, dry finale.
Excellent with substantial meat dishes, such as bistecca alla Fiorentina, game and ripe cheese.

SERVING GLASS: Requires a large balon wine glass to guarantee oxygen to its significant structure.
